About Us

Żelatyna Brodnicka continues the long-standing tradition of gelatin production in Poland and is currently the only producer of this raw material in the country. For years, we have been supplying pork gelatin to the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and entertainment industries (paintball). In our production process, we also obtain feed fat and raw materials for pet food production.

Many years of experience allow us to produce gelatin tailored precisely to the requirements and specifications of our clients.

Our history dates back to 1937.

The gelatin factory was established alongside an already existing meat plant. After the fall of communism, a turning point for the facility came when it was purchased by the Hildebrandt family in 1999. Since then, the plant’s production capacity has increased several times over. Currently, we produce approximately 6,000 tons of gelatin annually, consuming an average of 35,000 tons of pork skin. This has been made possible through regular investments in machinery, skilled personnel, and continuous improvement of the production process.

With appropriate production and technical facilities, we supply pork gelatin according to the diverse requirements of our customers to 19 countries across 4 continents. The quality of our production process and product is overseen by numerous certification bodies. For years, we have held ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 22000:2005 certifications. The HACCP, BRC, and GMP standards are the highest assurance of compliance with international food safety standards.
